I am now a full pledged training and quality leader. Yes, I now handle two departments and have about 100+ people under my leadership. It’s interesting that my boss called me "a good leader". I absolutely love it.
It’s been 2 weeks and within the clutter and noise that my job entails, I’ve managed to learn how different trainers and quality personnel are.
Trainers are more vocal about their issues and will not stop until things are resolved. Some are quieter than most but they still speak their mind. QAs are usually quiet but when they flock with colleagues and close friends, they bite harder. Both complement each other and I have a great team. As long as they understand that by working together, they will realize that they are both on the same path to continuous improvement and development.
