Rocking the Boat

Filed in Blog & Personal Updates , Work Environment 0 comments

It has been a long time since I posted here and I’ve always had an excuse.  Yes, I would call it an excuse because I could’ve used my time management skills and still had time to post at least 1 article per week.  But, that is the past.  I am now hoping that the industry hasn’t gobbled me up entirely to forget about my passion in writing.

The problem about being half artist and half corporate (or business I should say) is that everything is dependent on what my mood is like.  Being a writer, I also experience writer’s block.  Unfortunately, it took me more than what I expected to get rid of it.

So, let’s rock the boat, shall we?  Yes, this is something that I’ve been experiencing for the past few months.  The merger has made me stronger and believe it or not, I’m still in the same company.  Many have left and most are my colleagues from the old company and it is sad.  Very sad indeed.  But, I’m still hanging on to dear life (so to speak) hoping that I can still continue the culture that I’ve come accustomed to.

I’m rocking the boat at work because I believe despite of the hard work and dealing with changes in the company, I can still have my own voice.  I’m speaking as loud as I can and because of this, other people have seen the boat rocking.
