This is the new and improved Call Center Blurbs blog.
I started this in 2005 and it was housed in Squarespace within the callcenterph sub-domain. Over the years, I’ve managed to post some articles but focused on bringing content in Call Center Script, run by Know More Media.
The hiatus is now over. Expect more content starting November 2009 onwards.
The main purpose of this blog hasn’t changed. It’s still a venue to read stories about the people behind the call center industry. It is their stories that will bring life to this blog.
It is also going to be a hub where call center professionals can refer to for tips, advice and some techniques while on the job. Your frustrations, achievements, rants and raves will be heard.
If you are either a call center veteran or just starting to know about this huge industry, this resource is for you. The stories and experiences that I’ve gone through plus other people’s views will give you a sense of what it is like working and living the lifestyle in the call center industry.
My drive and motivation to share my knowledge and experiences have stemmed from numerous requests to start an informational website on call centers, specifically about the people behind it and NOT the companies. Here is a short list that I plan to include for your reading pleasure:
